Omelet with Bread and Cheese

The omelet prepared according to this recipe resembles an intricate sandwich with a reverse filling. A slice of rye bread with molten chrome, wrapped in a thin omelet pancake, turns into the perfect breakfast dish. You can also take such an omelet sandwich with you for a snack.

Ingredients

  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 1 teaspoon
  • Hard cheese – 40 g (1 slice)
  • Rye bread – 1 slice
  • Fresh dill – 1-2 branches
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 1/2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Break the egg into a bowl. Add sour cream, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Shake the egg with sour cream, salt, and pepper with a fork until you get a more or less homogeneous omelet mixture. Heat the frying pan thoroughly and brush with vegetable oil. Pour the omelet mixture into the skillet and spread evenly into a thin pancake. Important: so that you can wrap bread and cheese in an omelet, take a large frying pan dia.
  3. Reduce heat to low and sprinkle with chopped dill on the omelet. Immediately place a slice of rye bread in the center of the omelet.
  4. Place a plate of hard cheese on top of the bread. As soon as I grab the pancake, cover the cheese and bread with an omelet with a four-sided envelope.
  5. Fry the omelet over low heat for about a minute and turn over to the other side. On the other side, also fry the omelet for about a minute. Transfer the finished omelet with bread and cheese to a plate.
  6. Serve the cheese and bread omelet right after cooking. Enjoy your meal!
