Ingredients

  • 250 g penne
  • 250 g chicken breast fillet (s)
  • oil
  • 400 g tomato (s), chunky
  • 30 g parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon basil, fresh, slightly torn

Instructions

  1. The great thing about this recipe is that you cook everything in one pan or in a saucepan. So the noodles are cooked in the sauce. This gives them a much more aromatic taste than if you normally prepare them in salt water.
  2. First cut the chicken and peppers into small pieces. Then fry the chicken pieces in a little oil, add the peppers and fry a little.
  3. Mix the vegetable stock with salt and garlic granulate and add to the pan or saucepan with the uncooked pasta and tomatoes. Bring everything to the boil and simmer until the pasta is al dente. This takes about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Now add the cream and simmer for another 1 minute. Stir in the grated parmesan and pepper until everything is combined. Finally fold in the basil and serve.
