Ingredients

  • 1 kg onion (s)
  • 150 g red pepper (s)
  • 150 g bell pepper (s), yellow
  • 150 g reen pepper (s)
  • 3 clove (s) garlic
  • 1 chilli pepper (s)
  • 7 tablespoon oil, (rapeseed oil)
  • 250 g suar, brown
  • 125 ml vinegar, (red wine vinegar)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Clove powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes.
  2. Remove the stem and seeds from the peppers and chilli, cut into small pieces and finely chop the garlic cloves.
  3. Now sauté everything together in a saucepan in oil, add sugar and vinegar and season well with the spices. Simmer for about 40-50 minutes until everything is soft.
  4. Then puree the relish in the blender, fill it with hot twist-off glasses and seal
