Ingredients

  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 500g flour
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled salt
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 onion (s), red
  • 2 tablespoon capers
  • 1 can tuna, in its own juice, drained
  • some parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Crumble the yeast and mix in a bowl with sugar and water. Mix the flour with salt, garlic and 1 tablespoon of oil, knead in the yeast water and let rise for about 20 minutes.
  2. Finely dice the onions, fry lightly in the remaining oil and knead into the dough with the finely chopped capers, the parsley and the tuna and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  3. Place the dough in a loaf pan lined with baking foil and bake in the preheated oven at approx. 180 ° C on the middle rack for approx. 55 - 60 minutes. Place an ovenproof dish with water in the oven.
  4. Tastes best only with butter or plain cream cheese.
