Ingredients

  • 150 grams flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g cheese (rated Emmentaler)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 kg onion (s)
  • 100 g bacon (diced smoked bacon)
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 2 egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Put the flour on a countertop. Add diced butter, cheese, egg yolk and salt. Knead into a ball and let it rest for a few hours - preferably overnight. Cut the onions into slices. Blow out the bacon over a mild heat, then sauté together with the onions until golden brown. While the onion mixture cools down, chop the parsley and beat with sour cream and eggs. Season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Roll out the dough and line a large cake tin with it. Prick the dough base several times with the fork. Mix the onion mixture with the egg cream and pour into the cake tin. Bake at 180 degrees for about 35 to 40 minutes.
