Ingredients

  • 4 pork schnitzel, á approx. 150g (or turkey schnitzel)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 4 large onion (s)
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 200 ml white wine (or vegetable stock)
  • 1 pinch garlic
  • 150 g cheese, rated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash off the schnitzel, pat dry and season on both sides. Fry a little on both sides in a pan. Put in a flat baking dish.
  2. Halve the onions and cut into fine strips. Roast in the pan until golden brown.
  3. Mix the cream with the crème fraîche and wine. Season with garlic powder and add to the onions. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce has reduced a little. Pour over the schnitzel, sprinkle with the cheese and bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
