  • 3 tablespoon vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil, e.g., sunflower oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion and shallots into fine cubes. Mix salt and pepper to taste with vinegar and oil and pour over the onions and shallots. Mix well and let steep for about 1 hour.
  2. Tip: If there are leftovers, they can be kept in the refrigerator for at least 1 day. They will then still taste very good or even better.
