Ingredients

  • 1 liter orange juice (not-from-concentrate, no concentrate)
  • 2 orange (s) (organic)
  • 2 bags mulled wine spice
  • 2 bags tea (evening by the fireplace)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (s)
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 carnation (s)
  • 500 g preservin suar (3: 1)
  • some rum

Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges, rub the peel, then squeeze out the juice. Slowly heat the fresh orange juice together with the orange juice from the bottle (not-from-concentrate) and the tea bags and the spices. Personal taste decides when it comes to spices. You can also use 2 sticks of cinnamon. Do not boil, but let it steep for at least 30 minutes. Take it off the stove. Then remove all the spices and the tea bags, add the preserving sugar and the orange zest and bring to the boil according to the instructions on the preserving sugar pack. Add the rum and pour into glasses. This amount makes about 5 glasses. Tastes very fruity and the mulled wine taste makes this jam ideal for Advent and Christmas, also as a gift.
