Orange Cupcake

Ingredients

  • Orange – 1 pc.
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 2 teaspoon
  • Butter or margarine – 150 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs. (or 4, if the eggs are small, then the cake will not be dry)
  • Baking powder – 2 teaspoon. (I didn’t measure it out and put a pack – 10 g) or 1 teaspoon. soda
  • Flour – 200-250 g
  • Semolina or bread crumbs – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Remove the zest from the orange (using a special knife, or grate). Squeeze out the orange juice (you should get about 50-70 ml).
  2. Grind butter (softened) with sugar and vanilla sugar. (I didn’t wait for it to thaw, but just melted it over low heat.)
  3. Add eggs, stir. Add orange juice and zest, stir. Add flour, baking powder, knead the dough.
  4. Place the dough in oiled tins (2/3 full) or in one medium pan. Sprinkle with semolina or bread crumbs. Also put your soul, wonderful mood and a drop of love. And the cupcake will turn out excellent!
  5. Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the orange muffin for about 25 minutes. In general, until ready. And do not rush to take it out of the mold immediately, let it cool down a bit and … Bon appetit!
