Orange – 1 pc.
Flour – 220 g
Sugar – 100 g
Butter – 100 g + for greasing the mold
Eggs – 3 pcs.
Cognac – 30 ml
Baking powder – 10 g
For glaze:
Butter – 40 g
Milk – 50 ml
Cocoa powder – 3 tablespoon.
Sugar – 4 tablespoon.
Egg white – 1 pc
Instructions
Beat the softened butter and sugar with a mixer. Remove the zest from the orange and squeeze out the juice. Add orange zest and juice to a bowl of butter and beat well again. Add 3 eggs. Add flour and baking powder. Pour in cognac. Mix the dough well.
Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with flour. Put the dough into a mold and flatten. Bake the orange cake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes, check the readiness with a toothpick. Judge the finished cake in the form, put on a dish.
To prepare the glaze, combine sugar, cocoa powder, and butter in a saucepan. Send the saucepan to the fire. When the mass is collected in a lump, pour in the milk. Mix the glaze well until smooth. Remove from heat. Add the egg white to the chocolate glaze and beat well.
Decorate the orange muffin with the chocolate icing and dry slightly. The glaze will not flow or stick.
