Orange-ginger Tea
Orange-ginger Tea

Instructions

  1. Peel the orange and cut into large slices. Cut the lemon into slices as well. Put both in a tea pot (samovar). Cut the ginger into very small pieces and add. Add the honey and pour hot water over it. If you like, boil for about 1-2 minutes. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
  2. If desired, sweeten with honey again.
  3. Tip:
  4. If you like more lemon, take a whole. Also tastes good with fresh mint or green tea.
  5. I make the tea in a Turkish tea pot (samovar), where you boil the water in the large pot and then pour the tea in the small one.
  6. If the tea is too strong, you can dilute it with hot water.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
