by Editorial Staff

Orange jelly is aromatic, delicate, moderately sweet and very tasty. This dessert looks very festive on the New Year’s table!

Ingredients

  • Freshly squeezed orange juice – 600 ml (about 1.5 kg of oranges)
  • Sugar – 100 g (to taste)
  • Instant gelatin – 20 g

Directions

  1. Squeeze out orange juice (about 1.5 kg of oranges). Pour gelatin with juice (150 ml). Mix well and leave to swell. Pour the remaining juice (450 ml) into a saucepan, add sugar to taste, mix. Put it on the stove and bring the juice to a boil over low heat.
  2. Remove from heat, add the swollen gelatin, mix well until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Leave to cool to room temperature. Pour the cooled orange jelly into the bowls and put them in the refrigerator for 2 hours, until they solidify.
  3. Before serving, decorate orange jelly as you wish: nuts, orange slices, fresh mint leaves.

Enjoy your meal!
