Orange Marmalade on Agar-Agar

A light dessert with a pleasant orange flavor! Marmalade is prepared on agar-agar, which makes the delicacy attractive not only for those with a sweet tooth but also for vegetarians and lovers of healthy food.

Ingredients

  • Oranges – 1.4 kg
  • Sugar – 200 g
  • Agar-agar – 10 g

Directions

  1. Wash the oranges and extract the juice in any convenient way. I got 400 ml of juice.
  2. Pour half of the juice into a small saucepan or saucepan, add sugar, and stir. Heat the remaining half of the orange juice to 35-40 degrees and combine with agar-agar. Stir.
  3. Put a saucepan with orange juice and sugar on the fire, heat until hot, and, stirring, pour in orange juice with agar-agar in a thin stream. While stirring, bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
  4. Pour the hot mass into silicone molds and cool. Then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Remove the prepared frozen marmalade from the molds and put it on a chilled dish.
  6. Serve chilled orange marmalade.
