Ingredients

  • 500 g carrot (s)
  • 50 g raisins
  • 3 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 bunch spring onion (s)
  • 50 g almond (s), or nuts
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), the juice from it
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek

Instructions

  1. Peel and roughly grate the carrots. Roast the sesame seeds with the cinnamon sticks in the oil and add the grated carrots and raisins. Let everything simmer for about 2-3 minutes and season with salt, pepper and sambal oelek. Deglaze with the white wine vinegar and let cool down a little.
  2. Finally, remove the cinnamon sticks.
  3. Finely ring the spring onions, coarsely chop the almonds or nuts and then mix with the lemon juice into the carrots and let it steep a little.
