Ingredients

  • 1 kg minced meat, half and half
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g onion (s)
  • Maggi
  • 500 g tomato (s)
  • 3 large peppers, colored
  • 4 cans tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato (s), strained, rustica
  • 1 clove garlic

For the spice mix:

  • 1 teaspoon pepper, white
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 pinch clove pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch allspice
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions

  1. First cut the onions into small pieces. Then salt the minced meat, pepper a little and knead loosely together with the onions. If you like, you can add a little Maggi. Dice the peppers, cut the tomatoes into small pieces and knead everything loosely with the minced meat.
  2. Put the mixture in a baking dish and press down a little. Cook in the oven at 170 degrees for one hour.
  3. In the meantime, use the spices in the list of ingredients to make a spice mix. Mix the tomato paste and tomato puree with the spice mixture and, if you like it spicier, season with Tabasco or chilli.
  4. At the end of the cooking time, pour the tomato paste over the casserole and briefly bake again.
  5. Rice is served with it.
