  • 4 slices knuckle (s) (veal)

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the slices of the veal shank, then fry well on both sides in hot fat. Peel and finely dice the onion and add to the meat. Fry briefly, then add the tomato paste. Stir and sauté briefly, reducing the heat at the same time. Now pour in the marsala and the broth, then add the thyme.
  2. Braise in a preheated oven at 180 ° C in the oven with the lid closed (preferably in a roaster) for approx. 1 - 1.25 hours.
  3. It goes well with ribbon noodles or Italian bread or baguette and fresh spinach or zucchini vegetables.
