  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
Pan Fries
Pan Fries

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into very large sticks. Do not wash. Here it is worthwhile to take large potatoes, this is the closest thing to Belgian fries.
  2. Heat the types of oil in a pan, add the unwashed potato sticks and fry them over high heat. Please wait a little before shaking, then nothing will stick. Then shake and swirl once, turn down to medium heat and fry for about 10 minutes. Shake or swivel again. Then switch back to full bottle, fry, shake and swirl until the pens look like fries.
  3. Caution: Do not add salt until the fries are on the plate. Additionally pepper.
  4. 10 tablespoons of oil sounds like a lot, but most of it stays in the pan. And you get really crispy fries that are very similar to Belgian fries, and with a lot less fat.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
