Pancakes in a Waffle Iron

The easiest and fastest way to bake pancakes is in an electric waffle iron. There they are evenly baked and obtained tender, thin and ruddy. And you do not have to distribute the dough in the pan and turn it over.

Servings: 20

Ingredients

  • Milk – 500 Milliliters
  • Vegetable oil – To taste
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Flour – 1 Glass
  • Salt – 1 Pinch

Directions

  1. For the dough, sift a glass of flour into a bowl, make a “funnel” in the flour. Drive a raw chicken egg into it, add a pinch of salt, pour in half a liter of milk, a little vegetable oil, so that the pancakes come off easier from the waffle iron. Stir with a whisk until the dough is homogeneous, without lumps.
  2. Turn on the waffle iron and let it warm up. Then grease the surface of the device on both sides with oil using a special silicone brush.
  3. Using a ladle, pour some dough onto a waffle iron, press down and wait a couple of minutes until the pancake is browned. Repeat the process until the dough runs out.
