Ingredients

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 500 g minced meat, pork
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper
  • some marjoram
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 ½ cup meat broth
  • 1 egg (s)
  • possibly Tabasco

Instructions

  1. To get the cevapcici finer, either pass the minced meat through again when you buy it or turn it through the meat grinder at home.
  2. Then mix all the ingredients and knead well. Sharpen with Tabasco sauce as you like. I take 5 drops myself. The more meat broth is added, the juicier the cevapcici will be. I always take 150 ml myself.
  3. Shape the minced meat mixture into sausages, about twice as thick as a finger. With the pan preheated, fry the cevapcici over medium heat on each side until they turn golden brown.
  4. If you plan a larger amount, then preheat the oven to 50 degrees, so you can keep the already finished cevapcici warm without them drying out.
