Ingredients

  • 200 g rice
  • 3 bell pepper (s), red, green, yellow
  • 1 small onion (s), or shallots, red
  • 0.5 liter ½ vegetable broth or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon clarified butter or oil
  • Herbs, mixed
  • Paprika powder
  • Chilli powder

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion, clean and dice the paprika. In a high pan or saucepan, sweat both well in the clarified butter. Add rice, toast briefly and then deglaze with the stock. Simmer over medium heat for approx. 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste and add 1 - 2 tablespoons of herbs.

  3. If you like the rice more juicy, add broth.
  4. If you like the rice more spicy, you either sweat tomato paste with it at the beginning or add sambal oelek, but then leave out the chilli.
