Instructions

  1. Make a yeast dough out of the flour and ingredients and after rising for the first time in a warm place for about 1 hour, roll out into a rectangle about 1 finger thick, brush with half / 125 g / of the soft butter and roll up tightly lengthways.
  2. With this amount I divide the dough in two and then roll it out one at a time so the slices don`t get too big.
  3. Then cut about 2-3 cm wide slices with a sharp knife, dip them from one side into the rest of the now dissolved butter and layer them upright in a large, round, greased tray, so that the side dipped in butter on the back of the previously inserted pane. At the end it should look like a rose or a flower, cover and let it rest for another 30 minutes.
  4. Then brush with egg - cream mixture and sprinkle with sesame or caraway seeds and bake for about 1 hour until golden - hot air 180 degrees lower insertion height.
  5. The tray should be poured from one piece so that the butter cannot flow out during baking. After baking, the individual slices can be loosened individually.
