Ingredients

  • 400 g potato (s)
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 liter tomato juice
  • 400 g tomato (s), chunky
  • 200 ml broth
  • 1 can kidney beans, 850 ml
  • 200 g ham
  • salt
  • Chili powder
  • paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the washed potatoes and cut into pieces. Halve the pepper, clean, wash and dice. Peel the onion and garlic. Cut the onions into fine cubes, mash the garlic.
  2. Sauté the potatoes, peppers, onions and garlic in heated oil. Pour in the tomato juice and broth, add chunky tomatoes and bring to the boil. Cover and cook for approx. 25 minutes.
  3. Drain the kidney beans, add with the diced ham and heat briefly. Season with chilli powder, salt and paprika powder and serve.
