Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta, short (e.. penne, fusilli, riatoni)
  • 50 ml butter
  • 1 onion (s), chopped
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper (s), diced
  • 50 ml flour
  • 625 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 g feta cheese, diced
  • 125 ml parmesan, grated
  • 125 ml olives, black, seedless, sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon dill or parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ oregano, dried

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the packet, drain.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add onion, garlic and paprika and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Stir in flour, after about 3 minutes, stir in milk and tomato paste and bring to the boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the pasta and stir in. Add the feta, half of the parmesan, olives and herbs.
  3. Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle with the rest of the parmesan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 25-30 minutes.
