Ingredients

  • 500 g ribbon noodles
  • 750 g creamed spinach
  • 1 can tomato (s), peeled
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup crème fraîche or sour cream
  • 1 packet cheese (Gouda), grated
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Fondor
  • Water (salt water)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water, rinse and place in a baking dish. Peel the onion and cut into cubes. Sweat half of the onion cubes in a saucepan and place the spinach on top.
  2. Season the spinach with a little nutmeg and fondor and pour onto the pasta. I`ll stir the whole thing through, otherwise the bottom noodles will be so dry afterwards.
  3. Briefly sauté the rest of the onions and the garlic in a small saucepan. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add them with the juice from the can. Add the creme fraiche or sour cream and heat slowly (do not boil, otherwise the sour cream will curdle).
  4. Season with salt and pepper and pour onto the pasta. Stop stirring now. Put the cheese on top and in the oven at 200 degrees until the cheese is nice and brown.
