Pasta Casserole with Bacon and Cheese

Don’t know where to put the pasta leftover from the previous meal, or want to diversify the range of pasta dishes? Make a pasta casserole with bacon and cheese! Such a pasta casserole will be a godsend for those who love tasty and satisfying food, but cannot spend a lot of time in the kitchen!

Ingredients

  • Pasta – 150 g or cooked pasta – about 400 g
  • Bulb onions – 0.5 pcs.
  • Bacon (or pork belly) – 80 g
  • Hard cheese – 60 g
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Cream 10% – 6 tbsp
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water (750 ml) until cooked according to the instructions on the package. Throw the finished pasta in a colander and rinse with a little water. (If you have pasta from a previous meal, use it.) Turn on the oven, let it heat up to 180 degrees.
  2. Cut the bacon into cubes or strips. Peel the garlic and onion. Cut the onion into cubes. Chop the garlic.
  3. Heat the sunflower oil in a skillet. Add bacon, onion, and garlic to the heated oil.
  4. Fry over medium heat until the bacon fat is melted and the onions are tender. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater.
  5. Add bacon and onion and half of the cheese to the pasta. Pour black ground pepper here, focusing on your taste.
  6. Toss the pasta, bacon, and cheese. Divide the pasta into portioned baking dishes.
  7. Pour 2 tablespoon into each mold. tablespoons of cream. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the pasta. Bake the pasta in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
  8. Pasta casserole with bacon and cheese is ready. Serve hot, preferably immediately after cooking.
