Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (spirals)
  • 250 g ham
  • 100 g cheese, rated
  • 200 ml cream
  • 500 ml water
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable stock, grained
  • 1 tablespoon herbs, mixed
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Put the uncooked pasta in a baking dish. Cut the ham into strips and spread over the pasta. Bring the cream, milk, water and the herbs and spices to the boil together, thicken with the cornstarch. Take the saucepan off the stove, let it cool down a bit and stir in the egg. Pour the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle the casserole with grated cheese.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
  3. Tip: You can also use meat sausage, salami or leftover cold cuts instead of ham.
