Ingredients

  • 4 tuber / s fennel
  • 250 ml milk (0.3% or 1.5%)
  • 2 tablespoon processed cheese (10%)
  • salt and pepper
  • some nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock, paste
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sauce thickener, light
  • 500 g noodles (whole wheat noodles)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Cut the onion into small cubes. Wash the fennel, cut out the stalk, cut into thin slices and then into cubes.
  2. Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Fry the onions and fennel in it over a low heat for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with milk. Add vegetable stock paste and season with salt, pepper and a little nutmeg. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the processed cheese and let it melt. Don`t forget to stir. Season again to taste and thicken a little with a sauce thickener. Serve with whole grain noodles.
