Pasta Linguine with Mussels

A hostess is also a person! But often she has to rush from table to kitchen, especially when there are many guests. I propose a spectacular dish prepared in a matter of minutes. For a fish dinner, pasta with mussels is great! Even beginners can handle it easily!

Ingredients

  • Mussels – 1 kg
  • Garlic – 3 teeth.
  • Parsley
  • Ground black pepper
  • Pasta (pasta) linguine or spaghetti – 300 g

Directions

  1. Wash mussels with a brush and remove beards. If you are using frozen mussels, they should already be peeled. Peel and cut the garlic into plates. Crumble parsley large. We put everything in a saucepan. Add a generous pinch of pepper.
  2. Close the pan with a lid and set it on medium heat for 10 minutes. You don’t need to add anything to the pot. The shells will open on their own and release liquid. DO NOT DRAIN !!!
  3. We free some of the mussels from the shells, which we discard. Shells that have not even opened slightly are ruthlessly thrown away!
  4. Boil linguine (in fact – flat spaghetti) in salted boiling water. Do not forget that for every 100 g of pasta you need 1 liter of water!
  5. We drain the water and toss the pasta into the pan with mussels. Stir the pasta with mussels, and our linguines are ready.
