Ingredients

  • 500 g pasta, small ones, e.. Farfalle
  • 500 g meat sausae, alternatively Viennese sausaes
  • 6 large tomato (s)
  • 400 g cheese (Emmentaler or Gouda) in one piece
  • 1 jar gherkins (gherkins), large
  • 10 basil leaves
  • mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar, mild
  • possibly salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta as described on the package and let it cool.
  2. Cut the meat sausage into small cubes and place in a large salad bowl (with Wiener sausages simply cut the sausages into approx. 1 1/2 cm thick slices).
  3. Cut the cheese into small cubes and add to the sausage in the bowl. Also cut the tomatoes into cubes and add to the sausage and cheese in the bowl. Finally, cut the cucumbers (gherkins) into slightly thick slices and add them to the bowl with the ingredients.
  4. Add cold pasta to the ingredients and mix everything together.
  5. For the salad dressing, mix the oil, vinegar and mayonnaise together (little tip: mix in enough mayonnaise to make a thick sauce). If you like, you can also season the sauce with a little salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the sauce over the salad and mix together. Wash the basil leaves, pat dry, chop and sprinkle over the salad.
  7. Another tip: if you don`t like vinegar / oil / mayonnaise sauce, you can also use normal salad dressing.
