Pasta with Carrots, Onions, and Apples

If you want to cook pasta in an unusual way from the simplest products – cook them according to this recipe! Pasta with carrots, onions, and apples are very tasty, in an original sweet and sour sauce and with a light apple flavor. Tasty, interesting, and beautiful!

Ingredients

  • Pasta – 250 g
  • Carrots – 1 pc. (100 g)
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc. (100 g)
  • Apple (sweet and sour) – 1 pc. (100 g)
  • Tomato paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 tbsp
  • Parsley (for serving, optional) – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. We start by making pasta. In a large saucepan, pour about 2-3 liters of water, add 2-3 pinches of salt, set to maximum heat, and bring to a boil. Dip the pasta in boiling salted water, stir and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 3-4 minutes (or according to the instructions on the package), until soft.
  3. Throw the boiled pasta in a colander, shake it, let the excess liquid drain.
  4. Peel and wash carrots, onions and apples. Cut the carrots into small cubes. We also cut the onion and apple into small pieces.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. We spread the chopped carrots and lightly fry for about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add chopped onion. We mix.
  7. Add the chopped apple. Mix again.
  8. Pour in sugar.
  9. Add tomato paste and stir.
  10. Add boiled pasta.
  11. Pour in salt and ground pepper. We mix.
  12. Stir and fry for about 5 minutes.
  13. Pasta with vegetables and an apple are ready. We serve them to the table, decorating with parsley leaves if desired.
