Ingredients

  • 1 bowl sugar snap peas, approx. 200 - 250 g
  • 1 bowl cherry tomato (s), approx. 200 - 250 g
  • 1 handful cashew nuts
  • 250 g spahetti or other pasta
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 medium onion (s), red
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • some oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in the pan and prepare a saucepan with water for the pasta. Peel and chop the onion, best of all halving the snow peas and tomatoes.
  2. First, steam the onion in the pan. Peel the garlic and either cut into small pieces or add to the onions using a garlic press. After sautéing briefly, add the snow peas to the pan.
  3. Heat the water for the pasta on the stove. When the water is boiling, add salt and add the spaghetti (or the pasta you have chosen) and cook until al dente.
  4. In the meantime, add the halved tomatoes to the pan and season to taste. Add cashew nuts.
  5. Drain the finished pasta, but do not put it off and keep a little pasta water. Add some of the pasta water to the vegetables.
  6. Arrange the pasta, pour the tomato, snow peas and cashew mixture on top and enjoy!
