Ingredients

  • 1 half a vegetable onion (s)
  • 200 g diced ham
  • 500 g pasta
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 200 g cream
  • 0.5 tube ½ tomato paste
  • 1 cube broth or .5 teaspoons homemade vegetable paste
  • some white wine, optional
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 leaves basil, optional
  • 1 teaspoon pesto, green, optional

Instructions

  1. First you peel and cut the vegetable onion into small cubes. Then you clean the mushrooms, remove the lower parts of the stems and cut them into approx. 2-3 mm thick slices. Now you steam the onion briefly and add the ham cubes.
  2. Next, the noodles are put in boiling, salted water, they should be cooked for about 8 - 12 minutes depending on your taste.
  3. When the onions with the ham cubes are lightly browned, the mushrooms are added. These are lightly browned and you add the tomato paste and fry it.
  4. This is quenched with a dash of wine and the cream is added.
  5. The sauce should now be orange-red, so you can add the stock cube and stir in.
  6. Depending on your taste, you can add salt and pepper, add a teaspoon of pesto or tear off a few basil leaves and add them.
