Instructions

  1. Place the peaches in boiling water for approx. 1-2 minutes. Then chill, peel and core. Dice half of it, puree the remaining peaches. Mix the puree and fruit cubes with the preserving sugar and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil while stirring and - depending on the instructions on the package on the preserving sugar - let it simmer for approx. 3-4 minutes. Take the pot off the heat, stir in the amaretto and immediately pour the jam into jars that have been rinsed with hot water. Close the jars and place them upside down on a kitchen towel for 5 minutes. Note: Can be kept for approx. 6 months.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
