Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 °.
  2. For the batter, beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and softened butter until frothy. Mix flour and baking powder, sieve and stir into the mixture. Add lemon juice and salt. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and smooth it out.
  3. Cut the drained peaches into wedges and distribute them evenly on the dough.
  4. For the crumble, cut the cold butter into small pieces, pour sugar, vanilla sugar and sifted flour over it and knead into crumble with your hands. Scatter the streusel over the peaches and bake the cake for 40-45 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  5. To decorate, roughly chop the chocolate and melt in a water bath. Put the liquid chocolate in a plastic bag, cut off a very small point and cover the cake with a chocolate lattice.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
