Ingredients

  • 700 g ooseberries, cleaned and halved
  • 500 g preservin suar, 2: 1
  • 300 g pear (s), peeled, pitted and finely diced

Instructions

  1. Finely puree half of the gooseberries, then cook everything in a large saucepan according to the instructions on the packet and fill into clean screw-top jars. Close this tightly and stand on the lid to let cool down. The pears balance the acidity of the gooseberries and are significantly cheaper than the standard jam partner for gooseberries, the kiwi.
