Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 4 egg (s)
  • 175 grams sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 125 ml milk, 1.5% fat
  • 300 grams flour
  • 4 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 3 teaspoons, leveled baking powder

For covering:

  • 8 pear (s), firm
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled cinnamon
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 75 g almond (s), chopped

Instructions

  1. Peel the pears, cut into wedges and place in lemon water until ready to use.
  2. Put the eggs and sugar in a bowl and whip for a long time until frothy. Bring the milk with the butter to the boil briefly in a saucepan, allow to cool again and then add to the foam mixture. Mix the flour, cocoa and baking powder together and fold in loosely. Do not stir for too long, otherwise the dough will lose its airiness!
  3. Pour the dough into a greased drip pan and cover a roof with the pear slices on top. Then mix the cinnamon with sugar and almonds and sprinkle over the pears.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes on the middle shelf.
