Ingredients

  • 200 g pear (s), canned or 3 fresh
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 200 g couverture, semi-sweet

Instructions

  1. For 12 muffins.
  2. Grease the muffin cups or put paper cups in them. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C fan oven.
  3. Bring the milk with the sliced vanilla pod and the scraped pulp to the boil and let it cool down again. Peel the fresh pears and remove the cores, drain the canned pears. Cut into small pieces.
  4. Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl, mix with salt and pear pieces.
  5. In a larger bowl, whisk the egg, mix with the butter or margarine, sugar and the vanilla milk. Carefully fold in the flour mixture. Pour into the molds and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Let cool down briefly and remove from the mold. Melt the couverture in a hot water bath and brush the muffins with it.
