Instructions

  1. Bring the wine and the spices to the boil. Peel and halve the pears and remove the core.
  2. Simmer the pear halves in the stock until firm to the bite and allow to cool in the stock. Goes well with desserts such as Kaiserschmarren, but is also suitable as a side dish for meat.
