Ingredients

  • 2 ½ kg peas with pods or 750 g frozen peas thawed
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 cup meat broth
  • 1 bunch peppermint
  • salt
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel the peas and sauté in butter. Add the meat stock and chopped mint (leave a few leaves for garnish).
  2. Season the peas with salt and sugar and cook for 15 minutes over low heat.
  3. Season again before serving and garnish with the remaining peppermint leaves.
