Peking Cabbage Stuffed Cabbage with Minced Turkey and Rice

Usually cabbage rolls are made from white cabbage, but you can diversify the menu by cooking cabbage rolls in the oven. We will use minced turkey and rice as a filling for stuffed cabbage.
Ingredients
Peking cabbage – 1 pc.
Turkey breast – 600 g
Rice – 100 g
Bulb onions – 3 pcs.
Salt
Pepper
To fill:
Cabbage broth – 250 ml
Salt – 1 teaspoon (to taste)
Ground black pepper – to taste
Tomato paste – 70 g
Cream (or sour cream) – 1 tbsp
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
Directions
Prepare the ingredients for the cabbage rolls. Boil the rice in salted water for 15 minutes, then put it on a sieve.
Cut the turkey breast into small pieces and twist through a meat grinder along with onions.
Mix the minced meat with rice, salt, pepper and stir. The stuffing for cabbage rolls is ready.
Separate the cabbage leaves and rinse each one under running water. Boil the sheets in boiling water for 3 minutes. Then slightly cut off the thickened part of the sheet. (If you want to cook small cabbage rolls, then cut the sheet into 2 parts.)
Put 1-1.5 tablespoon on a cabbage leaf. spoons of filling and roll up. Do this with all the cabbage leaves and put the cabbage rolls on a baking sheet.
Add salt, sugar, tomato paste, cream or sour cream and vegetable oil to the cabbage broth. Mix. (Add garlic if desired.)
Pour the cabbage rolls with the prepared mixture.
Send stuffed cabbage rolls to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Peking cabbage rolls with minced turkey and rice are ready! Sprinkle cabbage rolls with chopped herbs.
Serve hot cabbage rolls.
