Ingredients

  • 500 g penne or other pasta
  • Salt water
  • 500 g broccoli, fresh or frozen
  • 350 g hollandaise sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 handful cheese (Gouda or Emmentaler), grated
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable stock, instant
  • water

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water as usual. In the meantime, cut the broccoli into florets. Put this on top with a little broth and cook it for a few minutes. They should be cooked until they are soft, but in such a way that they don`t mash.
  2. Put the cooked pasta back into the pot after draining. Drain the broccoli through a sieve. Also add to the pot with the pasta.
  3. Prepare the hollandaise sauce according to the instructions on the packet or your own recipe and pour it into the pot as well. Mix everything well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Then add the grated cheese and wait until it melts and pulls threads. The hotplate should be switched on again briefly for this.
