Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 pack dry yeast
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 100 g pesto, reen, e.., from wild arlic or basil
  • 100 g feta cheese, alternatively Gouda or other hard cheese
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with salt, sugar, dry yeast and oil, then pour in the lukewarm water. Knead everything into a dough and cover and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
  2. Knead the dough again, shape into 18 small balls and let rise for another 15 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, cut the cheese into 18 cubes. Fill the balls with a cheese cube and roll them in the pesto. Then distribute in a greased wreath form (26 springform pan with insert).
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 - 30 minutes at 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
  5. Tastes delicious e.g., with grilled food or salad and antipasti.
