Pickled Carrots (Instant)

Quick pickled carrots are easy to cook and make a great snack.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Carrots – 500 g
  • Vinegar 6% (9%) – 5 tbsp (3.5 tablespoon. L.)
  • Sunflower oil – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – 1.5 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1.5 tbsp
  • Garlic – 3-5 cloves
  • Bay leaves – 1-2 pcs.
  • Coriander – 2 pinches
  • Black peppercorns – 3 pcs.
  • Water – 1 l

Directions

  1. Place the carrots in a convenient container. Cut the peeled garlic into large pieces. Add bay leaves, coriander, and black pepper.
  2. As soon as the water boils, pour sugar and salt into it. Mix well. Pour in vinegar. We mix. Add oil. Mix again.
  3. Fill the carrots with brine. Let it cool. We put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
  4. Quick pickled carrots are ready.
