Pickled Chinese Cabbage (Quick and Easy)

Instant pickled cabbage is a welcome snack on any table. Almost everyone loves cabbage – spicy and crispy, or tender and juicy. Chinese cabbage has excellent taste and delicious tenderness. In the marinade, it imparts a completely new taste and becomes more piquant, with a pleasant spicy flavor.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Peking cabbage – 500 g
  • Carrots – 100 g
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Coriander – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 70 ml
  • Vinegar – 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Divide Peking cabbage into 4 parts and chop coarsely.
  2. Grate carrots for Korean snacks.
  3. Finely chop the garlic.
  4. Add carrots, garlic and coriander to the cabbage.
  5. To prepare the marinade, mix vegetable oil with vinegar, add sugar, salt and heat slightly.
  6. Pour the hot marinade over the cabbage, mix and let cool.
  7. Then place the cabbage in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours to marinate.
  8. Pickled Chinese cabbage perfectly complements meat and many other dishes.
