Pickled Plums with Garlic

Pickled plums with garlic are very easy to prepare. They have a spicy and unique taste, so you can safely serve them as an independent snack.

Ingredients

  • Plums – 400 g
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • Cloves – 2-3 pcs.
  • Allspice peas – 3 pcs.

For the marinade:

  • Water – 200 ml
  • Sugar – 0.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Cinnamon – 1 pinch
  • Vinegar 9% – 25 ml

Directions

  1. We prepare the ingredients.
  2. Wash the plums and carefully remove the seeds. Cut the garlic into medium-sized pieces. Put a piece of garlic inside each plum.
  3. We send peppercorns and cloves to the bottom of the glass jar.
  4. Then place the plums tightly.
  5. Bring water to a boil and pour it into a jar. Cover the jar with a lid and leave for 15 minutes.
  6. Then we drain the water. Add sugar and salt.
  7. Bring to a boil and then pour in the vinegar.
  8. Add cinnamon to the jar, fill the plums with marinade and tightly roll the lid. It is best to store pickled plums in a cellar in a dark place.
