  • 400 ml vinegar (fruit vinegar)
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 500 g suar
  • 1 lemon (s), the zest
  • ginger

Instructions

  1. The firm pumpkin flesh is cut into cubes. The vinegar is boiled together with the red wine and the spices and this broth is poured over the pumpkin cubes. Now you leave everything covered for 24 hours. The next day you add the sugar and let the pumpkin simmer on a low flame until it is translucent. Now you have to fill the hot cubes into jars and close them.
