Pies with Green Onions Ingredients

For dough # 1:

  • Flour – 110 g
  • Sugar – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Water (boiling water) – 50 ml
  • Vegetable oil (high quality) – 40 ml

For dough # 2:

  • Flour – 75 g
  • Vegetable oil – 35 ml

For filling:

  • Green onions (for filling) – 2 pcs.
  • Sesame (for sprinkling pies)
  • Egg yolk (for greasing pies)

To prepare the baking sheet:

  • Vegetable oil
  • Flour

Pies with Green Onions Instructions

  1. Mix salt, sugar with flour, pour in boiling water and mix quickly with a spatula. Then pour in vegetable oil (take good quality oil).
  2. We knead soft dough – very pleasant to work with, does not stick either to hands or to the table.
  3. For the second test, there are even fewer products: flour and vegetable oil.
  4. We connect everything and knead well.

  5. Cover both types of dough with foil and let stand for 30 minutes.
  6. After half an hour, divide each piece of dough into 10 equal parts (use a scale).
    We make balls of dough and cover with foil, let stand for 10 minutes.
  7. Now we turn each ball from the first dough into a cake and wrap a ball of flour and butter in it, forming a bun.
  8. This is done easily and fun. 🙂 Now let these balls stand under the film for 20 minutes.
  9. Time is over. Roll out the workpieces slightly and roll them into tight tubes.
  10. Let the straws lie under the film for 10 minutes.

  11. Once again, roll out the dough tubes with a rolling pin into strips and roll them up into rolls. We leave for another 10 minutes.
  12. We also need green onions for the filling, as well as sesame seeds and yolk.
  13. The last rolls are waiting for us to finely chop the green onions!
  14. Lightly roll the rolls into strips, in the center – a little onion. Roll up with an envelope and press (slightly roll up with a rolling pin).
  15. Grease a baking sheet with oil and sprinkle with flour. Put the puff pastry pies on a prepared baking sheet (sheet) with the seam down. Lubricate with whipped yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  16. We bake pies in the oven for 30-40 minutes at a temperature of 160 degrees. Focus on your oven.
  17. Put the finished puff pastries with green onions on the wire rack, let cool.
