Pizza Flatbread

Pizza flatbread is the union of two dishes: chebureki and pizza. The dish will conquer anyone who likes such simple recipes. Prepare this flatbread that tastes like chebureki and toppings – like pizza. Anyone can make juicy pita bread with crispy dough, and you can use whatever toppings you prefer for pizza.

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Flour – 250 g
  • Water – 125 g
  • Vegetable oil – 20 g + for frying
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon.

For stuffing:

  • Sausage – 100 g
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Onions – 50 g
  • Tomatoes – 150 g
  • Tomato sauce – 50 g
  • Dried basil – to taste
  • Dried oregano – to taste

Directions

  1. Pour hot water (boiling water) into the flour in which the salt has already been dissolved. Prepare the choux pastry.
  2. Pour in the vegetable oil and mix the dough.
  3. Roll the dough into a ball and cover it with a towel for 20 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 10 pieces and roll out each piece thinly. Cut out a circle with a saucer.
  5. Put the filling on one part of the dough: coat the bottom with the tomato sauce and spices, put an onion ring on top, then – the grated cheese and a slice of tomato.
  6. Add a piece of sausage and more grated cheese on top.
  7. Put the second rolled circle on top and stick the edges together.
  8. Heat the oil well in a frying pan and put the pizza in it.
  9. Brown the pizza for 1 minute on both sides.

The pizza flatbread is ready. Serve it hot.
