Ingredients

  • 300 g quark
  • 600 grams flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 12 tablespoon oil
  • 10 tablespoon milk
  • 250 g cheese, rated
  • 1 onion (s), finely diced
  • 200 g salami, finely diced
  • 1 green pepper (s), finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon basil or oregano, dried

Instructions

  1. Mix the quark with the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, oil and milk to form a rather chewy dough. Then mix in the other small cut (pizza) ingredients. Place 3 cm piles of the dough on a prepared baking sheet - this results in around 30 pieces.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven at 170 ° C for approx. 20-30 minutes until they are golden yellow.
  3. You can take the pizza rolls with you to parties as well as to children`s birthdays. I then always make them a little smaller.
  4. Tips: You can also add corn, chopped peppers or other chopped ingredients of your choice to the batter.
  5. The base dough is also ideal for raisin rolls (soak 6 tablespoons of raisins in warm water beforehand, then they are juicier) or for quick Sunday rolls without yeast. You can then sprinkle them with your choice of grains (e.g. sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, etc.).
  6. It`s quick, easy and delicious. Warning: the raw dough is also very tasty. Make sure that there is still something left to bake
