Instructions

  1. For the dough, mix together the yeast, sugar and water. Add flour, salt and pepper and knead into a dough. Add oil and then knead the dough for at least 5 - 7 minutes. Then shape into balls and cover with flour in a bowl and let rise for about 1 hour.
  2. In the meantime, prepare the filling. Finely chop the onion and garlic clove and fry in the oil for approx. 2 minutes until translucent. Cut the bell pepper and zucchini into fine sticks, add to the pan and steam for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and thyme and leave to cool. Grate the cheese.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top and bottom heat.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to approx. 30 x 50 cm. Top with sucuk. Spread the vegetables and then the cheese on top. The dough is now rolled up from the long side. Press together well at the seams. Place on a pizza tray or baking sheet and shape into a wreath. Close the wreath well at the seams. Brush the wreath with oil and sprinkle with thyme.
  5. Bake in the oven for approx. 35 minutes. After baking, let it cool down for about 10 minutes and only then cut it. You can eat the pizza wreath hot as well as cold.
